Obituary

Eileen Elva Morgart , 93, of Hyndman, went to be with the Lord Sunday, January 13, 2013, at the Lion’s Center where she had been a resident for 4 years.

Born August 25, 1919, in Hyndman; she was a daughter of the late William P. and Nellie E. (Mason) Oliver.

She was also preceded in death by a husband, Robert I. Burkett, whom she married on March 18, 1942. He was killed in action during WWII in Luxembourg, Germany on November 23, 1944.

She then married, Raymond J. Morgart, January 15, 1951. He preceded her in death on October 17, 1999. Brothers, William and Foster Oliver also precede her in death.

She was the last surviving member of her family.

She was a member of the United Church of Christ and Faith Community Church, Hyndman.

Friends will be received at the Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home, Inc., 169 Clarence Street, Hyndman on Wednesday from 6 to 9 p.m.

A funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home on Thursday at 11 a.m. with Rev. Dr. Tomislav Dosch and Rev. Terry Campbell officiating.

Burial will follow at Cooks Mills Cemetery, Hyndman, PA
