Obituary

Mildred A. Dawson, 78, of Cumberland, died peacefully June 12, 2013 at New Hope Assisted Living.
Born May 9, 1935 near Hyndman, PA; she was a daughter of the late Walter and Sadie (DeVore) Lowery. She was one of 15 children. She was preceded in death by a son, Roger L. Dawson; and several brothers and sisters.
She is survived by a son, Steven A. Dawson of Wellersburg, six grandchildren, Christine, Adam, Amy, Seth, Leah and Roger Jr.; three sisters, Betty Piper, Geneva Twigg and Wilma Lease.
There will be no viewing.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
