Obituary

Hyndman, PA – Katherine I. (Clites) Evans, 87, of Hyndman went to be with the Lord Monday, March 2, 2015, at Devlin Manor, Cumberland.
Born January 20, 1928, in Ridgeley, WV; she was a daughter of the late Clarence and Annie (Martz) Clites. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Paul A. Evans in 1994; a brother, Earl L. Clites; and a sister, Dot Burley
Survived by three daughters, Karen J. Sides and husband Stephen of Fairfield, OH, Polly  S. Groves and husband Tom of Buffalo Mills, Glenna R. Bridges and husband Ronald of Hyndman; six grandchildren, Evan Bridges and fiancée Shawniece Beeman; Wayne Groves and wife Nicole, Angie (Groves) Miller and husband Jay, Stephanie (Sides) Bates and husband Jason, Stacey Sides and fiancé Adam Visnic and Scott Sides; a great grandson, Owen Miller and another one to arrive in July; a brother, Clarence Clites of Hyndman,  and a sister, Emma Roberta Burley of Plainsville, CT; sister-in-law, Jean Evans of Hyndman; special friend, Sherman Lehman of Buffalo Mills.
Mrs. Evans was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Hyndman. She was also a member of the Hyndman Senior Center
A funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home Thursday March 5, 2015 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Kenneth Haines officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior.
Burial will follow at Hyndman Cemetery
