Obituary

Charlotte Lorraine Smith, 65, of Hyndman passed away Friday April 3, 2015 at WMHS Regional Medical Center, with her family by her side.
Born June 30, 1949, in Cumberland, MD; she was a daughter of the late Stanley and Charlotte (Shaffer) Lehr. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert H. Smith; and a grandson, Tyler Leister.
Survived by a son, Jeff and wife Linda of Hyndman; a daughter, Shelly Leister and husband Shawn “Bif” of Hyndman; mother-in-law, Izola “Ike” Smith of Ellerslie; three granddaughters, Shania Leister, Megan and Alexandra Smith; sisters, Cathy Richardson and husband Mark of York; a brother, Richard Lehr and wife Nancy of Romney, WV; special friends, Karen Leydig and Bonnie Bridges of Hyndman.
Mrs. Smith worked in Housekeeping for WMHS for 32 years. She was also a Celebrating Home consultant. She enjoyed painting and making wreaths, along with other crafts as well as  cooking and baking for every occasion.  Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her granddaughters.
Friends will be received at the Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home, Inc., 169 Clarence Street, Hyndman on Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. where a funeral service will follow at 8pm with Pastor Bob Nagy officiating.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the funeral home to help defer expenses for the family.
