Obituary

Carlisle, PA  – William P. Moore, 84, of Carlisle, PA, passed away Thursday August 11, 2016
Born November 8, 1931 in Cumberland; he was a son of the late Harry and Esther (Shaffer) Moore. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Joan (Bowers) Moore; an infant son of two days, Michael Paul Moore, and his beloved son Richard William Moore.
Survived by two daughters; Debbie Logue and husband, Larry of Mechanicsburg, Judy Moore of Carlisle; six grandchildren, Lauren, Lisa, Stephen, Rachel and Joshua Logue and Joseph Trammell.  Also survived by two brothers, H. Louis Moore and wife Jane of Boalsburg, John Moore and wife Pauline of Hyndman; sister Nancy Moore of Asheville, NC and several nieces and nephews
Mr. Moore was a 1949 graduate of Hyndman High School and a 1953 graduate of Penn State. He was a Mechanical Engineer working for many different companies over the years. He and his family lived in Saudi Arabia off and on for 16 years while he worked for an oil company. He also was an owner/ operator of a trucking company for a number of years.
Friends will be received at the Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home, Inc., 169 Clarence Street, Hyndman on Monday August 15, 2016 from 12 Noon to 1 pm where a funeral service will follow at 1pm.
Burial will follow at Hyndman Cemetery
