Obituary

Kennells Mill, PA – Geraldine A. Logsdon, 81, of Kennells Mill, PA went to be with the Lord Tuesday January 31, 2017 at WMHS Regional Medical Center.
Born December 15, 1935, in Kennells Mill; she was the only child of the late Calton and Elsie (Leydig) Lepley. She married the love of her life, Elmo Wayne “Joby” Logsdon on June 23, 1957. He preceded her in death July 5, 1980. Also preceded in death by a granddaughter, Nicolette Saylor.
Survived by daughters, Kimberly Logsdon and fiancé, Tim Clites of Kennells Mill; Anita Logsdon Battisa and husband Anthony of Ocean City, MD; four grandsons, Benjamin Saylor, Levi Logsdon, Bradley Miller and Patrick Miller; a sister-in-law, Betty Sheirer of Hyndman; several nieces, nephews and cousins; and her dog, Nicki.
Geraldine drove school bus for 20 years for the Bedford Area School District. She was also a CNA and caregiver. She was a faithful and devoted member of Bible Gospel Church and loved her church family. In her younger years enjoyed snowmobiling with many friends and family. She loved her family above all else and enjoyed every moment spent with her daughters and grandsons.
Friends will be received at the Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home, Inc., 169 Clarence Street, Hyndman on February 3, 2017 from 6 to 8 p.m.
A funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home on Saturday February 4, 2017 at 11 a.m. with Pastor Gary Pensyl officiating.
Burial will follow at Madley Cemetery, Buffalo Mills, PA.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the funeral home to help defer expenses for the family.
