Obituary

Hyndman PA – Anneva Horner, 92, of Hyndman passed away Wednesday January 24, 2018 at Frostburg Village surrounded by her family.
Born October 11, 1925 in Cumberland, MD; she was a daughter of the late Banks and Bessie (Davis) Stahlman. She was also preceded in death her husband, David A. “Abbie” Horner Sr.;  sisters, Margaret Robinson and Geraldine Kelly; brothers, Audley “Jake”, James, Curtis and Frank Stahlman.
Survived by children, Diana Conner and husband Rick of Hyndman, David Horner Jr. and wife Theresa of Short Gap, WV, Sharon Snyder and husband John of Hyndman; a sister, Donna Shaffer of Hyndman; 4 grandchildren, John Snyder Jr. and wife Missy of Buffalo Mills, Missy Leydig and husband Stephen of Hyndman, April Horner of Short Gap, Brittny Walls and husband Jeff of Hyndman;  8 great grandchildren and  4 great great grandchildren with two more on the way; and many nieces and nephews.
She worked alongside her husband “Abbie” owner/operator of Horner’s food Market for 39 years. She was an active member of First United Methodist Church and the Annie Horner Bible Class and Rummage Sale.
Friends will be received at the Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home, Inc., 169 Clarence Street, Hyndman on Sunday January 28, 2018  from 2 to 5 p.m.
A funeral service will be conducted at funeral home on Monday January 29, 2018  at 11 a.m. with Pastors Ken Haines and David Klink officiating. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Burial will follow at Hyndman Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to First United Methodist Church. The family would like to thank the staff at Frostburg Village for their love and care, especially Glyniss and Christine and caregivers Ellen and Kelly.
