Obituary

Hyndman, PA – Randolph L. “Randy” Emerick, 79 of Hyndman went to be with the Lord Tuesday February 25, 2020 at WMHS Regional Medical Center.
Born April 30, 1940 in Fairhope, PA; he was a son of James F. and Mary Ellen (Custer) Emerick. He was also preceded in death by brothers, Kenneth, Ray and Clifford Emerick; a sister, Cecelia Willison, brothers-in-law, Harvey Ohler and Jesse Willison, and longtime girlfriend, Rena Skidmore.
Survived by sisters, Yolanda Campbell and husband Terry of Hyndman, Mary Lou Ohler of Stoystown, aunts Alma Custer of Hyndman, Cinda Emerick of Somerset; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Randy retired in 1996 from Memorial Hospital where he worked in housekeeping. He attended Faith Community Church and was a member of New Baltimore Sportsman’s Club and Hyndman Senior Citizens. Randy enjoyed playing cards, eating out with friends and morning coffee with best friend Ray Dom.
Friends will be received at the Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home, Inc., 169 Clarence Street, Hyndman on Friday February 28, 2020 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
A funeral service will be conducted at Faith Community Church, 287 Faith Church Rd., Hyndman on Saturday at 3 p.m. with Pastor Terry Campbell officiating.
Burial will follow at Comps Cemetery, Hyndman.
