Obituary

Hyndman, PA – Russell Martin Flanagan Jr. “Wolfman”, 59, of Hyndman, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday November 26, 2022 at home.
Born January 7, 1963, in Cumberland; the son of Russell Sr. and Carol (Kennell) Flanagan. He was preceded in death by his father, Russell M. Flanagan Sr., and a sister, Carolyn Metzner. He was also preceded in death by his best friend, Juanita Nair.
In addition to his mother, Carol Flanagan, Russell is survived by a brother, Raymond Flanagan and wife Brenda, sisters, Denise Miller and husband Mark, Barbara Colvin and husband Granville; brothers-in-law, Scott Franzak, Joe Metzner Jr. and Barry Geary.  Russell is also survived by his four children, Christopher Flanagan, Autumn Burkett, Charity Burkett, and Garrett Flanagan; seven grandchildren, Jolie, Cole, Keturah, Dominic, Kaelii, Ella and Olivia. Russell also has many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Russell was a graduate of Hyndman High School. He owned and operated, Trees R Us. Russell was known as Wolfman and was a tree squirrel. It didn’t matter the height of the tree; he was climbing it. He had a heart of gold and gave the best hugs. As he always said “Get Busy”
Friends will be received at the Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home, Inc., 169 Clarence Street, Hyndman on Sunday December 11, 2022 from ­­­­­­­­­­2 to 4 p.m. A memorial service will follow at 4 pm.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be sent to Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home to help the family with expenses.
