Obituary

Aylett, VA – Barbara (Kiser) “Dolly” Leydig, 89, formerly of Hyndman, passed away June 6, 2023 at home peacefully with her children by her side.
Born September 8, 1933, in Hyndman, PA; she was a daughter of the late Albert and Myrtle (Sides) Kiser.
Also preceded in death by her husband Samuel Leydig Sr., sons, Samuel Leydig Jr, Gary Leydig Sr., grandson, Brian Knighton; brother, Charles Kiser, Lewis Kiser; sister, Anna Mae Kennell.
Survived by children, Kenneth Leydig of Port Orange, FL; Marie Carter and husband Robert of Stafford, VA, Arleen Leydig McGregor and husband Joe DiGeronimo of Crystal River, FL, Wendy Leydig of Aylett, VA; daughter-in-law, Barbara G. Leydig of Hyndman; grandchildren, Michael Graham (Stephaine); Holly Bollinger (Lee), Gary Leydig Jr (Shannon), Jeremy Leydig, Samuel E. Leydig (Amy), Lisa Seiferth (Mark), Danielle Truax (Landon), Jared McGregor, Braylan Leydig; 14 great grandchildren,  and one great great grandchild.
Dolly worked with her husband at S&G Trucking for over 40 years. She was a member of Chestnut Ridge Independent Fellowship Church. Her family will remember her as a devoted and loving wife, mother and friend.
A service will be held at the convenience of the family.
