Obituary

Rev. Fred D. Hendrickson, 88, of Hyndman passed away Tuesday, July 23, 2024 at Rest Assured.
Born February 12, 1936, in Flintstone, MD; a son of the late John W. and Helen R. (Rice) Hendrickson.
He is survived by his wife, Jeanne (Wilhelm) Hendrickson; sons, Fred A. Hendrickson, Paul David Hendrickson and wife Vicki, all of Hyndman; a daughter-in-law, Sharon Hendrickson; grandchildren, David Paul Hendrickson, Joseph Allen Hendrickson, Shawna Hengst, Amanda Butts, Jonathan Hendrickson and Christopher Hendrickson; and 13 great grandchildren.
Fred was a custodian for the Bedford Area School District, he worked at Stroehmann Bakery and was a Minister for over 50 years. He served at Amaranth Church of the Brethren, Fairview Church in Artemus and Oakdale Chapel in Flintstone, where he was currently a member.
Friends will be received at the Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home, Inc., 169 Clarence Street, Hyndman Friday July 26, 2024 from 12 a.m. to 1 p.m., where a funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. with Rev. Milton Morris officiating.
Burial Hyndman Cemetery.
