Obituary

Robert “Joe” Beal, 73, of Mt. Savage, passed away Monday January 20, 2025 at UPMC Western Maryland.

Born April 6, 1951, in Cumberland; he was a son of the late Robert E. and Marguerite “Peggy”(Brannon) Beal.

Survived by a son, David Beal; granddaughter, Carlee Smith and husband Dave, great grandson, Hudson Smith; long time companion, Kim Weimer, brother, Jim Beal and wife Rosann, all of Mt. Savage; sister, Mary Ann Orndorf of Ft. Ashby; several nieces and nephews.

Joe retired from Frito-Lay. He served in the US Army Reserves and was a classic car enthusiast. He was proud of his two GTOs.

Friends will be received at the Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home, Inc., 169 Clarence Street, Hyndman on Thursday January 23,2025 from 12 to 2 p.m. where a funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. with Chaplain Paul Demers officiating.

Burial will follow at Comps Cemetery.
