Obituary

Hyndman, PA – Roger G. Dennison, 69, of Hyndman went to be with the Lord Friday January 31, 2025, at his home.

Born October 20, 1955, in Cumberland; a son of the late Robert and Helen (Middleton) Dennison. Also preceded in death by a son; Jason Dennison; brothers, Robert, and William Dennison; sisters, Hannah Mitchell and Donna Kennell.

Survived by his wife of nearly 50 years, Cynthia (Dawson) Dennison, whom he married March 28, 1975; sons, Russell Dennison and wife Jennifer, Roger Dennison and wife Christa; eight grandchildren, Corey, Codey, Jillian, Chloe, Landon, Gabe, Wyatt and Karcyn; brothers, Walter Dennison and wife Liz, John Dennison, James Dennison and wife Donna, Rick Dennison; sister, Nancy Bridges; many nieces and nephew including 2 special great nieces, Alayna and Avalene, who he babysat.

Roger worked at Hedstrom for 25 years, JLG, Morton Metal, Bayliner, Bedford Reinforced Plastics, and retired from Closet Maid in Grantsville. His family attended Christian Holiness Church. He enjoyed hunting, shooting and spending time with his family.

Friends will be received at the Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home, Inc., 169 Clarence Street, Hyndman on Tuesday February 4, 2025, from 6 to 8 p.m.

A funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home on Wednesday February 5, 2025, at 11 a.m. with Pastor Rod Spiker officiating. Viewing one hour prior.

Burial will be private at Palo Alto Hilltop Cemetery.
