Obituary

Price, Shirley Jean, 79, Cumberland, passed away surrounded by her family January 18, 2026. Born July 17, 1946, born to the late James and Marcel (Miller) Dietz. She was also preceded in death by her loving husband, Daniel R. Price Sr.; son, Daniel Price II; brothers, Gary Dietz and Larry Dietz; the parents that raised her, Lester and Veda Lafferty.

She survived by her daughter Mary Price; granddaughter, Chyann Price (Brandon Murphy); grandson, John Price and great grandson, Jameson Murphy; Nephew, James Dietz and his family. Plus her special dog Bella.

At Shirley’s request there is no viewing or memorial at this time, However July 13, 2026, there will be a memorial service at 13212 Twin Maple Drive Cumberland, MD 21502.
