Obituary

Harold “John” Miller, 85, Buffalo Mills, went to be with the Lord August 28, 2026. Born October 28, 1940, to the late Allen and Ruth (Dull) Miller. Also preceded in death by his brother, Terry Miller.

John was survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Mary (Brown) Miller. He was also survived by his children, Wanda Shank and husband Terry, Steven Miller and wife Cynthia, Melody Kimble and husband Brad, Matthew Miller and wife Angie, April DeWitt and husband Paul; grandchildren, Tyler and partner Bekka, Samuel and wife Lydia, Nicole and fiancée Caleb, Oscar, Casey and husband Nicholas, BJ and wife Lauren, Celeste and husband Tristan, Brett, Ethan, Autumn and husband Brandon, and Summer; great grandchildren, Teddy, Dave, Daphne, Atticus, and Cayde. Plus, numerous nieces and nephews.

John was a lifelong farmer and enjoyed the outdoors as much as possible. For 45 years John served as pastor, he loved to share the word of God with everyone. John was a Pastor at Prosperity Christian Church, Jerusalem Christian Church, Finleyville Church, Lebanon Christian Church and the Union Rescue Mission in Cumberland, MD. More than anything, John loved his family and spending time with all of them. The family will receive friends on Wednesday September 2^nd from 5pm to 8pm at the Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home at 169 Clarence Street, Hyndman PA 15545. Again, on September 3^rd from 10am until time of the funeral service at 11am at the Milligan’s Cove Christian Church at 4500 Milligans Cove Road, Buffalo Mills, PA 15534. Pastor Russell Hoffman and Pastor Gary Pensyl will be officiating, and interment will follow at the Milligans Cove Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to the Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home.
