Hyndman, PA -Leila B (Siegner) Meyers, 92 of Hyndman, PA passed peacefully to her eternal home Wednesday, January, 15th, 2020 at Sarah Todd Memorial Home, Carlisle.

Born December 16th, 1927, in Hyndman, PA; she was the daughter of the late Adam Charles and Ora Elizabeth (Mull) Siegner.  She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Harold William Meyers, son, Charles William Meyers, brothers Charles, Irvin, and Henry Siegner and sisters Annie Siegner and Ida Fields.

She is survived by her daughters Barbara Bingman and husband James of Shermans Dale, and Zina McKenzie and husband Gary of Harrisburg; four grandchildren, Bonnie McCauley and husband Patrick of Lewistown, MT, Gavin Bingman and wife Yuriko of Fort Worth, TX, Benjamin McKenzie and wife Yvonne of Fort Bragg, NC and Kayla McKenzie of Jamestown, NC and three great grandchildren, Noah Rotz of Morgantown, WV, Tristan Bingman of Fort Worth, TX and Mercy McKenzie of Fort Bragg, NC as well as two sisters, Martha Rider of Berkley Springs WV and Geraldine Bagley of Hyndman and many nieces and nephews.

Leila lived a full life and was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and homemaker.  She attended Hyndman High School.   She was known around Hyndman, where she spent most of her years, for her soup and homemade rolls and bread.  She was a life member of the First United Church of Christ and donated much of her time to the of Ladies Auxiliary.  She was skilled in knitting, sewing, cooking and canning and enjoyed taking classes in cooking and upholstery.  She and Harold also enjoyed dinners out with family and friends.

Family and friends will be received at the Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home, Inc., 169 Clarence Street, Hyndman on Saturday from 6 to 8 p.m. and on Sunday from 12 to 1 p.m.

A funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home on Sunday at 1 p. m. with Rev. Dr. Tomislav Dosch officiating.

Burial will follow at Hyndman Cemetery
