Obituary

Buffalo Mills, PA – Marilyn L. “Max” Burkett, 66, of Buffalo Mills, died Saturday May 28, 2011 at her home.

Born November 26, 1944, in Johnstown, PA; she was a daughter of the late Theodore and Beatrice (Trent) Lienhardt. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert Fuller Burkett in 1995.

Survived by sons, Timothy L. Burkett and wife Vicki of Buffalo Mills, Daniel E. Burkett of Hyndman, 8 grandchildren, Delicia Harden, Matthew Burkett, Dorie Dobak, Danita Burkett, Michelle Taylor, Elyse LaRue, Michael Deter, and Brandon Burkett; 11 great grandchildren; brothers, Telford Lienhardt of Mich., Terry Lienhardt of FL; sisters, Marion Miller of Hollidaysburg and Martha Imler.

Mrs. Burkett was a member of Bible Gospel Church. She enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping trips and watching NASCAR.

Friends will be received at the Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home, Inc., 169 Clarence Street, Hyndman on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
A funeral service will be conducted at Bible Gospel Church Hyndman Rd, Buffalo Mills, on Wednesday at 11 am with Rev. Fay Leydig officiating.
Burial will follow at Milligans Cove Cemetery, Buffalo Mills.
