Obituary

Olive June Schroyer, 86, of Ellerslie, died Tuesday, October 12, 2010 at WMHS-Regional Medical Center.

Born June 15, 1924, in Cumberland; she was a daughter of the late Grover F. and Pearl Marie (Critchfield) See. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Merle Victor Schroyer in 1988; and a brother, J. Franklin See.

She is survived by a son, David W. Schroyer and wife, Judith of Ellerslie; a grandson, Michael W. Schroyer and April of Hyndman; two great grandsons, Matthew W. and Brayden M. Shroyer; brothers, Frederick See of Leesburg, VA, Richard See, Robert See both of Ellerslie; sisters, Julia McFarland of Fort Ashby, WV, and Nancy Waugerman of Osterburg, PA.

Mrs. Schroyer worked in the housekeeping department of Florida Hospital and was also an elderly care giver. She was a member of the Ellerslie United Methodist Church and the Ellerslie Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary.

Friends will be received at the Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home, Inc., 169 Clarence Street, Hyndman on Saturday from 6 to 8 and on Sunday from 12 to 1 p.m.

A funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home on Sunday at 1 p.m. with Rev. Ted March officiating.

Burial will follow at Madley Cemetery, Buffalo Mills, PA.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Ellerslie United Methodist Church Roof Fund or Ellerslie Fire Department.
