Obituary

Otto Q. Kimmel Sr., 73, of Hyndman went to be with the Lord, Sunday, May 9, 2010 at Western Maryland Regional Medical Center.

Born June 23, 1936 in Somerset, PA, he was a son of the late George and Nellie (Campbell) Kimmel. He was also preceded in death by three brother and five sisters.

He is survived by sons, Otto “Quiggy” Kimmel Jr., of Hyndman, Ross Kimmel and wife Tammy of Hopewell, Daryl Kimmel and wife Jennifer of Hyndman; daughters, Nellie Kimmel of Claysburg, Alice Kimmel of Cumberland, MD; brothers, Robert Kimmel of Fairhope and Franklin Kimmel of Manassas, VA.

Mr. Kimmel drove truck for many different companies.

Friends will be received at the Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home, Inc., 169 Clarence Street, Hyndman on Wednesday, May 12 from 5 to 7 p.m. where a service will be held at 7 p.m. with Rev. Fay Leydig officiating.

Burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the funeral home to help defer funeral expenses.
