Obituary

Alice F. Troutman, 83, passed away September 23, 2026. Born April 30, 1943, to the late Carl and Alverda (Emerick) Shroyer. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 43 years Lawson “Sonny” Troutman; daughter, Kelly Troutman; brothers, Kenneth, Fay, Gary Shroyer; sisters, Doris Emerick and Marlene Hosselrode.

She was survived by her daughter, Shelly (Jeff) Harden; granddaughters, Jessica (Earl) Ritchie and Katie (Mike) Garlitz; great grandchildren, Lawson, Michael, Kaleb, Jacob, Mitchell, Maddie, Makenna, Marshall, Mary, Mason, Mathias and Maxwell; special sister in-law, Alice Cummins.

Alice loved her family and spending time with all her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She attended the Bible Gospel Church in Hyndman, she was a member of the Kennell Mills Sportsman’s Club, plus, she enjoyed gardening and planting flowers. She really enjoyed watching all of her great grandchildren in 4H and bowling. Family will receive friends Monday September 28, 2026, from 10am till time of service at 12pm at the Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home, at 169 Clarence Street, Hyndman PA 15545. Pastor Gary Pensyl will be officiating, and the committal will be at the Comps Cemetery. The family would like to thank the UPMC Home Health and Hospice Team.
