Obituary

Buffalo Mills, PA – Barbara G. Pensyl, 74, of Buffalo Mills, went to be with the Lord August 22, 2019 at Conemaugh Hospital, Johnstown.
Born September 30, 1944 in Bedford County, she was a daughter of the late Chester I. and Mary Jane (Seifort) Lewis. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Donald Pensyl Sr. in 2009.
Survived by a son Donald “Jock” Pensyl Jr. of Buffalo Mills, daughter, Sue Ellen High of Osterburg, foster daughter, Carrie Brown of Buffalo Mills, 3 grandchildren, Kodi Pensyl, Derrick and Darius High; sister, Cinda Wigfield and husband Robert of Everett, brother, Thomas Lewis and wife Shirley of Buffalo Mills; several nieces and nephews; and her beloved dog Coco.
Barb was the head cook at White Sulfur Springs. She started in 1988 and was there nearly 25 years. She was a member of Milligan’s Cove Christian Church. Barb was a Dom Care Provider for the last 30 years, opening her home to many special needs and elderly people. She also crochets hats for the Preemie Project.
Friends will be received at the Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home, Inc., 169 Clarence Street, Hyndman on Monday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m.
A funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home on Tuesday at 11 a.m. with Rev. Russell Hoffman officiating.
Burial will be private at Dry Ridge Cemetery
