Obituary

BettyLou Marie (Emerick) Clites, 80, of Hyndman was surrounded by her family when she went home to be with the Lord at Somerset Hospital on June 1, 2024.
Born November 13, 1943 in Fairhope; a daughter of the late Verdie “Bert” and Leora C. (Emerick) Emerick. On September 3, 1963 she married Woody Clites Sr and was married 35 years until the Lord called him home. She was the last member of her family and was preceded in death by brothers, George “Hop”, James, Big Bad John, Merle, Paul, Robert, Wayne and Ernest Emerick; sisters, Sharon Haggerty, Wilma Hatridge, June Kimmel, and Pauline Moore.
She was a member of the Central Christian Church.
Survived by sons, Woody Clites Jr. and Deb of Meyersdale, Barry Clites and wife Crystal, Jim Clites and wife Edie, all of Hyndman; who she resided with the past 5 months; grandchildren, Adam, Sabrina, Bruce, Crystal, and Josh; 11 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received at the Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home, Inc., 169 Clarence Street, Hyndman Friday June 7, 2024 from 12 a.m. to 2 p.m., where a funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. with Pastor Terry Elliott officiating.
Burial Hyndman Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the funeral home to help defer expenses.
