Obituary

Hyndman, PA Charles W. Burkett, 69 of Hyndman died, Wednesday, Nov. 2, 2011, at Allegany County Nursing Home.

Born January 14, 1942, in Hyndman, PA; he was a son of the late Leroy W. and Gladys Maude (Baker) Burkett.

He is survived by daughters, Nancy Brady of Ellicott City, MD, Tina Bollinger of Westminster, MD, Tammy Guercio of Hyndman and Rhonda Burkett of Baltimore, MD; a brother, Donald Burkett; a sister, Lois Weaverling both of Hyndman; 12 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

Mr. Burkett was a pipe fitter at the Celanese Corporation. He was a member of the Kennells Mill Sportsman s Club and a social member of the Hyndman VFW Oscar Jordan Post 7375.

Friends will be received at the Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home, Inc., 169 Clarence Street, Hyndman on Friday From 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.

A funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home on Saturday at 11 a.m. with Rev. Kenneth Haines officiating.

Burial will follow at Madley Cemetery, Buffalo Mills, PA.
