Obituary

Kennells Mill, PA – Dale Leroy Willison, 88, of Kennells Mill went to be with the Lord, February 3, 2016, at Frostburg Village.
Born April 27, 1927 in Wellersburg, PA ; he was a son of the late Jessie and Lena (Martz) Willison. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Donald Willison
Survived by sisters, Helen Troutman of Kennells Mill, Maxine Rock of Mont Alto, Mary Ann Taylor;  a brother, Gerald Willison and wife Joann all of Waynesboro and many nieces and nephews.
Dale Served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict. He was an equipment operator for the Rock Cut Stone Quarry and worked at the Dinnerbell Restaurant in Hyndman for many years. Dale was a member of Calvary Bible Church. He was also a member of the Hyndman Londonderry Lions Club, Teamsters Local 453, he was a life member of the Kennells Mill Sportsmen’s Club and Barrellville Outdoor Club. He was known to many people as the unofficial “Mayor” of Kennells Mill.
Friends will be received at the Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home, Inc., 169 Clarence Street, Hyndman on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
A funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home Saturday at 11a.m. with Pastors Ken Korns and Greg Miller officiating
Burial will follow at Hyndman Cemetery with Military Honors by the Ft. Bedford Honor Guard.
