Obituary

Buffalo Mills, PA – Devon Eugene Leydig, 84, of Buffalo Mills passed away Sunday, December 18, 2022, at UPMC Bedford.
Born June 7, 1938, in Somerset County; he was a son of the late Ralph and Edna (Fraizer) Leydig. He was also preceded in death by a son, Darin Leydig; and a brother, Robert Leydig.
Survived by his wife of 64 years, Wanda C. (Bowser) Leydig, whom he married September 27, 1958; a son, Randy Leydig and wife Cynthia of York, PA; daughter-in-law, Rebecca Leydig of Windber; grandchildren, Benjamin, Becky, Amy, Chelsea, Abby and Emilee; and eight great grandchildren.
Devon was an auto Mechanic and worked for Toyota in Johnstown for 32 years. He also worked for Juniata Township and was a lifelong farmer. He enjoyed the outdoors and ran a sawmill. He was a member of the Buffalo Mills United Methodist Church.
There will be no viewing. Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
