Dorothy C. Bohn

Ellerslie, MD Dorothy C. Bohn, 96, of Ellerslie, MD, died Tuesday January 24, 2012 at Goodwill Mennonite Home, Granstville, MD.

Born August 19, 1915 in Corriganville, MD she was a daughter of the late Benjamin and Rachel (Witt) DeVore. She was also preceded in death by her husband Melvin Bohn in 1972, a brother Merle DeVore; sisters, Edna Morris, Mary Smouse and Elsie Combs. Dorothy was the last survivor of her immediate family.

She is survived by a niece, Barbara Shroyer of Ellerlie, MD; great niece, Linda Winner of Haymarket, VA, and Sherry Stahlman of Ellerslie, MD; and great nephew, Mark Winner of Germantown, MD.

Mrs. Bohn worked at the Celanese and Kelley Tire Company. She was a former member of Central Assembly of God and Chapel Hill Temple church. She also was a member of the Hyndman Senior Center.

Friends will be received at the Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home, Inc., 169 Clarence Street, Hyndman on Saturday from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. A funeral service will follow at 1 p.m.

Burial will follow at Lybarger Cemetery, Buffalo Mills, PA.
