Obituary

Hyndman, PA – Eileen R. Jamison, 86, of Hyndman passed away Wednesday December 10, 2024, at her home.

Born February 24, 1938, in Hyndman; she was a daughter of the late Edward and Alverta (Stuby) Madden. She is also preceded in death by her husband, William “Doc” Jamison Jr., a brother, Edward A. Madden; sisters, Peggy Clites and Mary Ann Frankenberry.

Survived by children, Pam Garrett and husband Terry, Debbie Torbet and husband Eric all of Hyndman; Jamie Jamison and wife Nancy of Charlotte, NC; grandchildren, Tara (Garrett) Burke and husband Jeff, Jeni Garrett, Shane Torbet and wife Kailee, Brad Torbet and wife Cherokee, Melissa Jamison, Jamie Troutman and husband Toni; Lori Troutman and husband Jarrod, and Robert Troutman; great grandchildren, Isaac, Callie, and Kamryn; sister, Lois Kreigline  and husband Robert of Chambersburg; sisters-in-law, Colleen Emerick, and Vivian Jamison; brother-in-law, Richard “Cork” Jamison; many nieces and nephews.

Eileen had worked at DeVores Market, Annette’s Fashion, and Connors Grocery. She enjoyed attending Grace United Methodist Church, playing tennis, doing crafts, spending time with family and watching her children and grandchildren’s sporting events.

Friends will be received at the Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home, Inc., 169 Clarence Street, Hyndman on Saturday December 14, 2024, from 12 to 2 p.m. where a funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. with Pastor Rodney Spiker officiating.

Burial will follow at Palo Alto Hilltop Cemetery.

Family would like to thank UPMC Hospice staff and caregivers, Sara Ringler, Karen Hyson, Virginia Emerick, Josie Deneen, and Kim Hovermale for the care they provided.
