Obituary

Fairhope, PA –Ernest L. Emerick, 75, of Fairhope passed away Friday, March 17, 2023 as a result of a house fire.

Born May 26, 1947 in Fairhope; he was a son of the late Verdie “Bert” and Leora C. (Emerick) Emerick. He is also preceded in death brothers, George “Hop”, James, Big Bad John, Merle, Paul, Robert and Wayne Emerick; sisters, Sharon Haggerty, Wilma Hatridge, and June Kimmel.
Survived by a sisters, Betty Clites and Pauline Moore both of Hyndman; many nieces and nephews.
Ernie worked at Snyder of Berlin for nearly 30 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and listening to ball games.
Friends will be received at the Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home, Inc., 169 Clarence Street, Hyndman Friday March 24, 2023 from 6 to 8 p.m.
A funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home on Saturday March 25, 2023 at 11 a.m. with Pastor Terry Campbell officiating.
Burial will follow at Comps Cemetery.
