Obituary

CANONSBURG, Pa. Frank Martz Jr., 90, of Canonsburg, formerly of Cumberland, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 5, 2014.

Born Sept. 7, 1923, in Cumberland, he is the son of the late Frank and Eleanor (Mowrey) Martz Sr.

Loving father of Richard Martz, Linda Martz Pajer, Patty Martz Cornell, Debie Martz, April Martz Scott, Vicky Martz; beloved grandfather.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sons, Jeffrey Martz and Sam Duck.

He was a proud U.S. Army veteran of the 88th Infantry Division who served in Italy in World War II.

Friends will be received at the Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home, Inc., 169 Clarence St., Hyndman, Pa., on Saturday, June 14, 2014 from 2 to 4 p.m. A funeral service will follow at 4 p.m.

Interment will be in Hyndman Cemetery.
