Obituary

Grace A. Weimer, 90, of Louisa, VA, formally of Hyndman, PA, passed away Thursday February 16, 2017, at Louisa Health & Rehab.
Born November 11, 1926; she was a daughter of the late Ellsworth and Evelyn (Fleming) DesJardins. She
was also preceded in death by her husband, Charles Roy Weimer, and a daughter, Judith Fossett; along with brothers, Edward, Bob, Ralph, Russel, and Kenneth DesJardins; sisters Ruth Hern and Stella Bonner.
Survived by her sons, Charles A. “Skip” Weimer and wife Marcia of Louisa, VA, Doug Weimer of
Springfield, VA; brothers, Wilber DesJardins of Seattle, WA; grandchildren, Christopher Weimer and fiancé Cindy Hess, Stephen Weimer and wife Jessica, Jessica Carter and husband Jonathan, Ashley Rychlik and husband Derrick, great-grandchildren, Andrew Weimer, James Dallek, Jefferson and Charlotte Carter, and Piper Rychlik; and many nieces and nephews.

Grace retired from the Pentagon where she was a secretary. She was a faithful member of the Ellerslie United Methodist Church.
Friends will be received at the Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home, Inc., 169 Clarence Street, Hyndman on Wednesday February 22, 2017 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
A Funeral service will be held at the Ellerslie United Methodist Church on Thursday 23, 2017 at 11 a.m. with Pastor Sandy Hetz Burchell officiating.
Burial will follow at Restlawn Memorial Gardens, LaVale, MD
