Obituary

Buffalo Mills, PA – Harold Miller “Pat” Pick Sr., 94, of Buffalo Mills went to be with the Lord Sunday, March 8, 2020, at home surrounded by his family.
Born March 17, 1925, in Cumberland; he was a son of the late James H. Sr. and Violet J. (Miller) Pick. He was also preceded in death by brothers, James Pick Jr., Fred Pick, Robert Pick, sisters, Betty Ritchey and Eileen Geissert.
Survived by his wife of 72 years, Guinevere (Shroyer) Pick, whom he married November 22, 1947; sons, Harold M. Pick Jr and wife Ivone of Naples, FL, Stanley Pick and wife Carol of Unionville, VA; 8 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Pat was a 1943 graduate of Hyndman High School and served in the US Navy during WWII. He retired from the Kelly-Springfield Tire Company after 40 years. He was member of Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church, Hyndman Masonic Lodge 589 F&AM; Hyndman VFW Oscar Jordan Post  7375, Cumberland Scottish Rite and former board member of the Lybarger Cemetery Association.
Friends will be received at the Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home, Inc., 169 Clarence Street, Hyndman on Tuesday March 10, 2020 from 6 to 9 p.m. Masonic service at 8 p.m.
A funeral service will be conducted at Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church, 7139 Hyndman Rd., Buffalo Mills, on Wednesday March 11, 2020 at 1 p.m. with The Rev. Ryan K. Viands, officiating. Viewing one hour prior to the service.
Burial will follow at Lybarger Cemetery with military honors by the Ft. Bedford Honor Guard.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Pat’s memory to Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church, P.O. Box 63, Buffalo Mills, PA 15534.
