Obituary

Troutman, Harvey Albert, 95, of Iowa Park, Texas, passed peacefully from this earth to join his Heavenly Father and beloved wife Mary on Friday, July 11, 2025. He was a devoted son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and uncle.

Harvey was born on July 7, 1930, to Nora and Russell Troutman of Wellersburg, Pennsylvania. He married his wife of 60 years Mary Everline, on September 25, 1953, in Cumberland, Maryland. Harvey worked at PPG in Cumberland and transferred to Wichita Falls, TX in 1975. He retired from PPG in 1992. He was a member of Park Place Christian Church, AARP, and the Lion’s Club. He enjoyed hunting, gardening, Red Door and Zone activities. Harvey proudly served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict.

Harvey was preceded in death by his parents, Nora and Russell Troutman; sister, Verna “Dolly” Carpenter; brothers, Vernon, Leroy, and Ray Troutman; wife, Mary Troutman and grandson Jason Troutman.

Harvey is survived by his three children: daughter, Janis Dolly and husband Ernie of LaVale, Maryland; sons, Gary Troutman and wife Linda of Wichita Falls, Texas, and Steven Troutman of Centennial, Colorado. He is also survived by grandchildren Dr. Gerad Troutman and wife Ashley of Lubbock, Texas; Stephanie Troutman of Centennial, Colorado; Rachel Troutman and Wife Kim of Pahrump, Nevada; step-granddaughters Erin Boyd and husband Jordan of Flintstone, Maryland and Jennifer Dolly of Cumberland, Maryland. He has fifteen great grandchildren: Cash, Colt, and Clay Troutman, Kynley, Kaysyn and Karsyn Troutman, Kaylene and Catherine Troutman, Dalton, Andrew, Ella, and Emma Boyd, Emilee Burgess, Dylan and Jacob Willison and one great great granddaughter Lyea Klemm, and many nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received at the Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home, 169 Clarence Street Hyndman, PA 15545, on Tuesday July 22nd at 9a.m. till the time of service at 10a.m. with Pastor Ken Korns officiating assisted by Pastor Ethel Stevanus. Burial will follow at Restlawn Memorial Gardens, LaVale, Maryland. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.zeiglerfuneralhome.com. Harvey was a blessing to us because he was a father who shared his heart, lived his faith, gave his time and loved his family. He will be dearly missed and cherished forever in our hearts.
