Obituary

Hyndman, PA – Hazel Mae Weimer, 86, of Hyndman went to be with the Lord Thursday, August 30, 2018 at Colonial Courtyard, Bedford.
Born July 18, 1932 in Hyndman; she was  daughter of the late May Rue (Shroyer) Boyer and Albert J. Emerick. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Irvin Theodore Weimer; brothers, Charles Boyer Jr, Roy Boyer; sisters, Dorothy Bryant, Alma Kennell, and Freda Kennell.
Survived by children, Johnny Weimer and wife Debbie of Berlin, Kathy Kegg and husband Roy of Manns Choice, Vonnie Minnick and husband Ronald of Cumberland, eight grandchildren, Ammie McKenzie, Sherry Keller, Jeremiah Weimer and wife Julie, Tammy Dawson and husband Kenneth, Jason Whitford, Isaac Kegg and wife Katie, Ronald Minnick II and wife Amanda, and Nicole Rose; a sister Patricia Bittner of Meyersdale; 15 great grandchildren with one more on the way and 2 great-great grandchildren.
She was a member of Calvary Bible Church. She enjoyed gardening, flowers, jigsaw puzzles, watching birds and butterflies and Baltimore Orioles baseball. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother. She loved playing card games and board games with her grandchildren.
Friends will be received at the Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home, Inc., 169 Clarence Street, Hyndman on Tuesday, September 4, 2018 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
A funeral service will be conducted at the at the Calvary Bible Church, 13901 Gardner Ave, Ellerslie, MD Wednesday September 5, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastors Ken Korns and Greg Miller officiating. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Burial will follow at Comps Cemetery
