Obituary

Kennell, John A. Sr., 83, Hyndaman, passed away February 14, 2026. Born to the late Jonathan and Nettie (Kirchner) Kennell. He was also preceded in death by his loving wife of 33 years Anna (Kiser) Kennell; also, infant daughter Dolly; grandchildren, Kenny and Teresa; brother, Earl Kennel.

He was survived by children, John Jr. (Laura) Kennell, Alice (Kenneth) Murray, Judy (Michael) Troutman, Bonnie Beals, Charles Kennell and Lisa Kennell; 15 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren; brothers, William and Clyde (Colleen) Kennell; plus numerous nieces and nephews.

John was a member of the Kennell Mills Sportsman Club, he also enjoyed fishing, hunting and mushroom hunting. He really enjoyed his grandchildren and great grandchildren and spending time with his family. Family will receive friends on Thursday February 19^th from 5pm to 7pm at the Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home, 169 Clarence Street, Hyndman PA 15545. Arrangements entrusted the Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Homes.
