Obituary

Wellersburg, PA – Kenneth “Kenny” Welsh Sr., 74 of Wellersburg, passed away Wednesday November 9, 2016 at WMHS Regional Medical Center.
Born December 25, 1941 in Cumberland; he was a son of the late M.F. Welsh and Anna C. (Kiefer) Welsh. He was also preceded in death by brothers, Lenny, Leonard, Jim, George, Robert, Lenny Jr., and Milton Welsh Jr.; sisters, Evelyne Gray, Dorothy George; a grandson, Andrew Gray.
Survived by his wife, Carley S. (Hosselrode) Welsh; sisters, Freda Long, Betty Ridgeley, and Patty Bonner of Cumberland; sons, Kenneth Welsh Jr. and wife Kelly of Wellersburg, Albert Welsh of Centerville; daughters, Kathy Emerick of Rockville, MD; Dawn Lowndes of Richmond, VA; grandchildren, Casey Gray, Justin Welsh, Konner and Kinley Dicken, Lexi Skidmore, Amy Whetzel-Katz and Tessa Whetzel.
Kenny was a member of the Local 657 and worked as a Tunnel Supervisor. He was also a member of the Kennells Mill Sportsmen’s Club, the Barrellville Outdoor Club and the Moose in Cumberland.
Friends will be received at the Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home, Inc., 169 Clarence Street, Hyndman on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
A funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home on Tuesday at 11 a.m. with Pastor Ken Korns officiating.
Burial will follow at Restlawn Memorial Gardens, LaVale
