Obituary

Buffalo Mills, PA – Larry Allen Chalfant, 50, of Buffalo Mills, passed away March 11, 2022 at UPMC Bedford Hospital.

Born October 9, 1971 in Bedford, PA; he was a son of Gary Sr. and Brenda (Twigg) Pensyl. He is preceded in death by his birth mother, Joann Chalfont, paternal grandparents, Carl and Frances Pensyl, maternal grandfather, James Twigg.

Survived by his children, Alisha Brown and husband Tyler, Larry Jr., Rachel Legeer and husband Bryce; grandchildren, Enzo Shipley, Nova Brown, Alaina Jefferys and Brayson Legeer, parents Gary and Brenda Pensyl, siblings: Marie Troutman, Gary Pensyl Jr wife Jena, Robert Pensyl girlfriend Marney Imler, Tabitha Yanke and husband Matthew, Joyce Willison and husband Kenny; maternal grandmother, Dolores Twigg; many nieces and nephews.

Larry was a one-of-a-kind man, wonderful father, brother, and friend. He enjoyed having a good time with his family and friends. He had a big heart and would help anyone, it didn’t matter if you were family, friend, or a stranger.   Larry was a welder at METT for the last several years.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday March 26, 2022 at Bible Gospel Church, Buffalo Mills.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Bible Gospel Church.
