Obituary

Shoemaker, Lynn T., 59, Hyndman, passed away May 16, 2025. Born October 10, 1965, to the late George and Catherine (Black) McGourlay. She was also preceded in death by her sister Isobel Kearney.

Survived by her son, Aaron McGourlay (Stephanie); stepsons, Michael Shoemaker, Bradley Shoemaker (Misty), Paul Shoemaker, and Derek Shoemaker (Molly); grandchildren, Dastan, Sutton, Quinten, Ian, Hailey, Aidan, Ailey, Avaya, and Arian; sisters, Louise McGourley and Carolann Rainey.

Lynn was born in Scotland and loved to travel back when she was able. She enjoyed sitting with people and helping family and friends. The family will receive friends Friday May 23^rd from 11am until the time of the service at 1pm at Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home, Inc., 169 Clarence Street, Hyndman. In lieu of flowers make a donation to the funeral home to help with final expenses.
