Obituary

Emerick, Manford L. “Danny”, 90, Hyndman, passed away August 22, 2025. Born May 21, 1935, to the late Roy and Belma (Baer) Emerick. Also preceded in death by his loving wife of 65 years Wilda (Kirchner); brother, Mervin; sister in-laws, Jean Emerick, Eileen Emerick; brother in-law, John McCoy.

Danny is survived by daughters, Debra Elliott (Terry) and Kathy Spiker (Rodney). Also, grandchildren, Nathan Elliott (April), Aaron Elliott (Jessica), Brandon Spiker (Amanda), Tessa Grant (Billy), and Derek Spiker; and eight great grandchildren; brother, Glenn Emerick; sisters, Dorothy McCoy and Susan Larson (Ron) and many nieces and nephews.

Danny served 3 years in the US Army in the 3^rd Armor Divion, then went on to retire from PennDot in 1998. He was a member of Glad Tidings Tabernacle. Family will receive friends Wednesday August 27^th from 11am. to 1pm at the Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home at 169 Clarence Street Hyndman, PA 15545 a funeral service with be held at 1pm. Officiated by grandson Pastor Nathan and son in-law Rodney. The family would like to give special thanks to (Danny’s Angels), Linda Fazenbaker, Dorothy Pichura, Kim Shaw, Tina Linn, Karen Hyson, and Nicole Lopez.
