Obituary

Marian E. “Toodie” (Kennell) Romesberg, 86, formerly of Kennells Mill passed away Thursday March 9, 2017 at Rest Assured in Meyersdale.
Born May 25, 1930 in Kennells Mill; she was a daughter of the late Roy and Naomi (Emerick) Kennell. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Thomas I. Romesberg Sr., in 2008 and siblings, Idella Lucero, Madeline Dom, Stanley Kennell, Emma Bittner, Marybelle White, A. Ruth Imler, Alzene Sweitzer, John Kennell and Gerald Kennell.
She is survived by a son, Thomas I. Romesberg Jr and wife Ruth of Kennells Mill, a daughter, Kathy McCoy and husband Donnie, of Hyndman; sister Frances Troutman and husband Rich; grandchildren, Melissa  Romesberg of Ellicott City, MD, Tonya Der and husband Greg of Mt. Airy, MD, Coby McCoy and wife Anna of Monroeville, PA and two great grandsons, Daulton and Dylan Der. Also numerous nieces and nephews.
Toodie attended Central Christian Church in Hyndman. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She always had a smile to share with others.
Friends will be received at the Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home, Inc., 169 Clarence Street, Hyndman on Sunday March 12, 2017 from 4 to 7 p.m.
A funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home on Monday March 13, 2017 at 11a.m. with Pastor Terry Elliott officiating.

The family would like to give a special thanks to everyone at Rest Assured who treated Toodie like family for the last 5 years and most recently to the Hospice Staff who were so kind to Toodie and her family. “Thank you all.”
