Obituary

Buffalo Mills, PA –  Michael R. Newman Jr.. 56, of Buffalo Mills, passed away Wednesday April 14, 2021.

Born August 3, 1964, in Honolulu, HI; he was a son of Michael Sr. and Lauretta (Seville) Newman. Preceded in death by his father in 1972, a step father, Jimmy Jones in 1982.

Survived by his mother Lauretta Jones Rieker and stepfather Robert Rieker of Buffalo Mills, a son, Michael R. Newman III of Buffalo Mills, daughter, Beth Ann Newman of Lancaster, brothers, Wilty Newman of Maytown, Kurry Newman and wife Cindy of Marietta, Stuart Newman and wife Lisa of New Cumberland, Randy Jones of York, sister, Jennifer Jones of Lancaster, step sister, Stacy Franklin and husband Michael of Ephrata, Erika Rieker of Millersville; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mike was an electrician at Lancaster Electric before retirement.

Friends will be received at the St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, New Baltimore on Friday April 23, 2021 from 10 to 11 a.m., where a mass will follow at 11 a.m. with Father Mark Pattock officiating.

Burial at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church Cemetery New Baltimore.
