Obituary

Shoemaker, Muriel Hulbert, 87, of Hyndman, passed away on November 7, 2024. Born on August 13, 1937, daughter of the late Floyd and Murial (Sulser) Ours. Preceded in death by loving husband, Paul A. Shoemaker; daughter, Betty D. Gable; grandson, Aeron Shoemaker; brother, Alvin D. Ours; and sister, Dorothy Wood.

Survived by sons, Paul A. Shoemaker Jr. (Trish), Floyd H. Shoemaker (Cathy), Brent L. Shoemaker (Resa), Shannon Shoemaker (Robin), Grant Shoemaker, and Kirk Shoemaker (Denise); daughters, Joy Sheldon (Richard), Patty Hite (Roger), and Murial “Sissy” Shoemaker-Mosher (Jerry); 28 grandchildren, 46 great-grandchildren, and 7 great-great-grandchildren. Muriel was a member of the Hyndman Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, and bingo. Murial also loved reading a good book. A memorial visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 13th at 1 P.M. until time of service at 2 P.M. Officiant Roger Huffman will be officiating at Harvey H.
