Obituary

Sharon, K. (Burkett) Kiser, 81, Hyndman, went to be with the lord and celebrate her late husband’s birthday on June 30, 2026, while surrounded by her family. Born April 23, 1945, to the late David and Mable (Campbell) Burkett. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Charles “Pee Wee” Kiser, whom she married in August of 1961; Brothers, Robert Burkett and Jimmie Burkett; Great grandchild, Alexandra Kiser.

She was survived by her children, Kenny (Johnna) Kiser, Angie (Royce Sr.) Shroyer, and Kim (Charles Jr.) Twigg; grandchildren, Carey (Ryan) Lancaster, Seth (Brittany) Kiser, Royce Jr. (Ashely) Shroyer, Chelsey (Noah) Shroyer, Gavin Twigg, and Aubrie Twigg; great grandchild, Izabella Lancaster and Hildie Kiser; brothers, Wayne Burkett, John Burkett, and Ray Burkett; sister, Beverly Huffman; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Sharon was employed as seamstress in Bedford with the Shoe Factory and with Cannondale, where she later retired. She loved her family most of all. She was a avid Pittsburgh Steeler fan and dressed up every Sunday to watch them play. Family will receive friends on Tuesday July 7^th from 6pm. to 8pm. and again on Wednesday July 8^th from 10am until time of service at 11am. at the Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home, at 169 Clarence Street, Hyndman PA 15545. Pastor Jim Swauger will be officiating the service. Arrangements entrusted to the Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home.
