Obituary

Hyndman, PA – Tammy “TK” Kennell, 58, of Hyndman died Thursday September 12, 2019 at WMHS Regional Medical Center.

Born January 9, 1961 in Cumberland; she was a daughter of Leroy “Booty” and Marilyn (Stallings) Kennell. She was preceded in death by her father, Leroy; special friend, Sarunya Kemthong; and a brother-in-law, Chris Buchanan.

Survived by her mother, Marilyn Kennell, of Hyndman; Rebecca Tammaro, who she thought of as a daughter; a brother, Dan Kennell and wife Carrol of Hyndman; sisters, Sherry Ritchey and husband Bill of Hyndman, Kim Buchanan of Cumberland; her best friend, Janine Schirf of Bellwood, PA; and several nieces and nephews.

TK was a Hyndman High School graduate. She worked at ARC of Hagerstown at Various group homes and Skills of Central PA as a life sharing specialist and provider. She operated the Dry Bones Corn Maze and Insane Asylum and Dry Bones Fun Productions Paintball. She played girls softball for the Ellerslie Tavern. She enjoyed riding her motorcycle and Halloween.

A celebration of TK’s life will be held September 21st from 5 to 8 at the Hyndman Grange Hall, 2527 Hyndman Road, Hyndman, PA.
