Obituary

Virginia “Jenny” Lee Hosselrode of Hyndman, PA passed away on Friday, March 14, 2025, at her home surrounded by family.

Born on February 3, 1940, in Cumberland, MD she was the daughter of the late John and Helen (Hockenberry) Clinedinst. Also preceding her in death was her husband, Francis (John) Hosselrode, infant son David Wayne, sisters Shirley (Chaney) Myers and Susan (Irene) Divelbliss, along with numerous other beloved family members.

Jenny is survived by her son, Devon Hosselrode (Julie), daughter, Kelly Green; grandchildren, Kara Zufall (Ben), Dereck Hosselrode (Shantelle), David Green (Amy), Ashley Bothast (Nick), and Adam Duvall; great-grandchildren Jonathan, Samuel, Grace, Kameron, Eleanor, Evelyn, Charlie and Beth; along with many nieces, nephews and other family members.

Jenny was a member of Wills Mt. Church of Christ in Hyndman, PA. Being with her family was her top priority.  She rarely ever missed a ball game and would be found watching from the car with her sister-in-law Eva, so they could blow the horn when their team got a hit.  She also loved to cook and take care of those around her.  A few of her favorite things were going for a frosty, dancing to Elvis, and sitting on the porch. She spent her life caring for and loving others.

Friends will be received at the Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home, Inc., 169 Clarence Street, Hyndman on Wednesday March 19, 2025 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.

A funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home on Thursday March 20, 2025, at 11 a.m. with the Evangelist Buck Ryan officiating. Viewing one hour prior.

Burial will follow at Palo Alto Hilltop Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Wills Mt. Church of Christ.
