Obituary

Wayne Dallas Shaw, 65 of McKeesport, PA died Friday September 24, 2010 in Hyndman PA.

Born February 17, 1945 in Braddock, PA; he was a son of the late George A. and Florence Mae (Reed) Shaw. He is also preceded in death by his step-father, Jacob Day Sr. and step-mother, Mary Ann Shaw.

Survived by wife of 28 years, Linda L. (Milam) Shaw of McKeesport, whom he married June 18, 1982; children, Gordon Heatherington of Greensburg, Dallas Heatherington of Shelby, OH, Wayne Shaw Jr. of Magnolia, TX, Tammy Lovitt of GA, Wayne Jacques of Grantsville, MD, Wayne Howard Shaw of Globe, AZ; brothers, George Shaw of Beltsville, MD, Richard Shaw of Lionsville, Jacob Day Jr. of Foxborough, MA, Craig Shaw, David Shaw both of Ft. Wayne, IN; sisters, Eileen Lydick of Kent, OH, Edna Mae Bradnick of Berlin, Barbara Keeseman of Chambersburg, Virginia Suder of Berlin, F. Ann Dom of New Paris, Beth Shaw, Linda Shaw, Cindy Shaw, Debbie Shaw, Darrel Shaw all of Ft. Wayne IN; 15 grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Mr. Shaw was a US Army Veteran. He worked for DM Bowman Inc as a long haul truck driver.

Friends will be received at the Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home, Inc., 169 Clarence Street, Hyndman on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
A funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home on Wednesday at 11 a.m. with Rev. Gregory Sinclair officiating. Burial will follow at Mt Zion Lutheran Cemetery, Allegheny Twp., Somerset County.
