Obituary

Hyndman PA – William E. Beals, 73, of Hyndman passed away Tuesday January 3, 2017 at his home.
Born November 18, 1943 in Cumberland; he was a son of the late Victor and Emma (Miller) Beals. He was also preceded in death by a daughter Kathy Beals; and a sister, Eleanor “Sugar” Hosselrode.
Survived by his wife of 50 years, Alice A. (Troutman) Beals, whom he married July 31, 1966; children, Victor Beals, of Hyndman; Ricky Beals and wife Barb of Wellersburg, Pam Kennell and husband Lynn of Wellersburg, Chris Beals and fiancé Eric Bittner of Hyndman; grandchildren, Nicole, Travis, Josh, Sandra, Blake, Cassy, Coty, and Cory; great grandchildren, Natalie, Cami, Alaina and Jade; a brother, Ronnie Beals and wife Judy of Hyndman; and many nieces and nephews.
Mr. Beals retired from CSX Railroad in 2001 after 40 years of service.
Friends will be received at the Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home, Inc., 169 Clarence Street, Hyndman on Thursday from 6 to 9 p.m.
Funeral service will be private.
Burial at Palo Alto Hilltop Cemetery.
