Hyndman, PA – Charles L. Mueller,  87, of Hyndman went to be with the Lord Wednesday November 19, 2015 at Grant County Nursing Home in Petersburg, WV.

Born March 10, 1928, in Keifer, MD; he was a son of the late Walter E. Sr. and Olive M. (Shumaker) Mueller. He was also preceded in death by his wife Kay (Manges) Mueller in 2013 and a son, Daniel Mueller; brother, Walter and Richard Mueller; sister, Norma Appel, Betty Andrews, Alice Mueller and Shirley Funari.

Survived by children, Sonja Maphis and friend, John Vandevander of Upper Tract, WV, Charles “Chuckie” Mueller and friend Judy of Kennells Mill; Robin Keel and husband Mike of Hyndman; James Kelly of Manns Choice; brothers, Robert Mueller of Baltimore, James Mueller of Boonesboro, Eddie Mueller of Martinsburg, WV; sisters, Freda DeGruchy of Wilkesbarre, NC, Marilyn Eyler of Westminster, MD; 11 grandchildren, Danielle Sirbaugh and husband Raymond, Michael Maphis and wife Kimberly, Amanda Johnson, Jeremi Mueller and wife Virginia, Adam Maphis, Justin Mueller, Justin Keel and wife Kesha, Amber Nagengast and husband Greg, Amy Just, Billy and Brandon Kelly; 19 great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.

Mr. Mueller was a 1947 graduate of Oldtown High School and attended Hagerstown Community College for 2 years. He served in the USMC during Korea. He was the owner of Mueller Homes Inc. and was a member of Faith Community Church, Gideon’s International, Hyndman VFW, Mountainside Marine Corps Detachment, American Legion Bedford, and the Hyndman Senior Center.

Friends will be received at the Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home, Inc., 169 Clarence Street, Hyndman on Saturday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.

A funeral service will be conducted at Faith Community Church, 287 Faith Church Rd., Hyndman on Sunday at 1 p.m. with Pastor Terry Campbell officiating.

Burial will be private at Lybarger Cemetery, Buffalo Mills.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Faith Community Church or Gideon’s International.
