Bedford, PA – Arthur Lee “Art” Hogamier, 32, of Bedford, formerly of Hyndman, passed away Sunday, September 30, 2012.

He was born June 18, 1980, in Cumberland, MD; a son of Earl D. Hogamier and Nancy V. (Merkel) Sigwalt.

He is preceded in death by a brother, Charles Hogamier, a son, Damien D. Hogamier; uncles, Roger and Charles Merkel.

He is survived by his father, Earl Hogamire of McClellandtown, PA; mother, Nancy Sigwalt and husband Robert of Bedford; sons, Dillon and Brenden Hogamier of Cumberland; Shawn Hogamier of Hyndman; grandmother, Elsie Merkel of Fairhope; sisters, Aleasia Hogamier and boyfriend Marty Walter, Mary Hogamier and boyfriend Jared Ohler and Christina Minnick and husband Chris all of Hyndman; step brother, Bobby Sigwalt of Dawson, PA; step sister, Tina Sigwalt of Hunker, PA ; an aunt, Judy Wheeler of Virginia; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Art worked at Rockland Manufacturing. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and the outdoors.

Friends will be received at the Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home, Inc., 169 Clarence Street, Hyndman on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.

A funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home on Wednesday at 1 p.m. with Pastor Stevie Leydig officiating.

Burial will follow at Hyndman Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the funeral home to help defer funeral expenses.
