Audrey Tolva Hyre
Bedford, PA – Audrey Tolva Hyre, 99, formerly of Hyndman, died Tuesday, July 16, 2013, at Colonial Courtyard in Bedford.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Casper S. Hyre; a son, Charles E. Hyre, a brother, Percy Miller; and an infant sister, Lillian Miller. She was the last surviving member of her family.
Audrey had lived in Cumberland before moving back to Hyndman in 1941. She also wintered in Sebring, FL. She was a member of Fairhope Community Church where is played the piano for many years. She was active in the Church of the Brethren in Hyndman and South Cumberland.
She was also a member of the Hyndman Senior Citizens, RSVP, Hyndman Londonderry Lions Club, Hyndman Choral Group and she was active in Head Start.
At the request of the deceased there will be no viewing.
A memorial service will be held at the Fairhope Community Church, Fairhope on Saturday September 7th at 2pm.
Burial was at Hyndman Cemetery, Hyndman.
