Deborah S. Tanner
Deborah S. Tanner of Henderson NV died June 11, 2013.
Born March 31, 1952, she is a daughter of Robert Irvin and Pluma (Lashley) Dom. She was preceded in death by her father in 1998. She is survived by her mother, Pluma M. Dom of Wellersburg, PA, brothers, Charles I. Dom and wife Michaeleen of Parkman, Ohio, Thomas E. Dom and wife Helen of Wellersburg, PA, sisters Kathy A. Friend and husband Dale of Frederick, MD and Marsha L. Sines and husband Robert of Meyersdale, PA and eight nephews and four nieces.
Deborah left behind one “furry friend” named Torch. Torch is being cared for and fostered by the staff of VCA Black Mountain Animal Hospital, better known to us as “Doggie Day Care”.
Deborah graduated from Meyersdale High School, attended Slippery Rock State University, graduated from Mercer County A.V.T.S. Practical Nursing Program and the UNLV Business Management through American Management Association Program. She worked within the medical field throughout her career. Her most recent position was as a Book Keeper/Salary Accountant for Vida Accounting, Las Vegas, NV, a Home Health organization. Two of their five offices in Las Vegas she was most closely associated with were Home Health Care Specialists and A Gentle Touch.
A memorial gathering was held at Deborah’s home, Wednesday July 3, 2013 and was attended by her Las Vegas family of friends and colleagues. A very special evening was shared on Deborah’s behalf.
Deborah’s wishes were for cremation.
Friends will be received at the Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home, Inc., 169 Clarence Street, Hyndman on Saturday, July 27, 2013 from 3:00pm until 4:00 pm where a memorial service will follow at 4:00pm with The Rev Dr. Tomislav Dosch officiating.
A private interment will be held at a later date.
